THE RELAXATION RESPONSE:

Using the Breath to Calm Anxiety

CO-LED BY MARKAY SUZANNE & JULIANA MITCHELL

Part I - Saturday April 9

Part II - Saturday April 23

1pm-4pm ET / Livestream via zoom

Our breath can be a powerful support tool for self-soothing. And once we’ve cultivated a relationship with the breath, we have a life-changing and incredible asset that’s free and always there for us.

But how do we build that connection with our breath? How do we deepen that connection? And how do we hold space for our students, clients or loved ones to access their breath support too? And what is the science behind it?

Join Markay & Juliana for a dive into one of the greatest investments you can ever make: your relationship with your breath. With a combo of lecture & experiential exercises, we’ll connect with our breathing and our innate ability to use the simple inhale and the simple exhale to calm anxiety.

Juliana & Markay will tag-team-teach in both part 1 & part 2.

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR:

People looking to empower and calm themselves via their breath.

People looking to support others (children, students, clients) in using the breath to calm and empower.

Anyone who’s breathing.

She finds that the Kriya grounds and centers her while helping her to find calmness. She has co-authored a manual on using breath techniques to support the prevention and recovery of COVID-19.
