SCHEDULING

FREQUENCY/REGULARITY: Many students have a regular or a semi-regular weekly r monthly time, while a few book their classes according to a changing schedule, ‘now & then'.

DAY OF WEEK/TIME OF DAY: I teach Mon. - Fri., beginning at 7am ET & every other Sun. evening. Please REACH OUT to  inquire & let me know of your availability.

LOCATION

ONLINE - Your class can occur online via Zoom, FaceTime or other. 

IN PERSON - Within the NYC area, classes can occur in a student’s home, place of work or rented studio space. For in person classes you must be an existent student of mine, or be referred to me by someone I know, or there must first be a face-to-face interview. 

LENGTH OF CLASS

Classes are typically 60-minutes in length. Please allow extra time for our first class together.

PREPARING FOR PRACTICE

WHAT TO WEAR: Wear loose comfortable clothing. And be prepared to be bare footed. Unless we are practicing Restorative Yoga, in which case you might want to wear socks.

EATING BEFORE CLASS: It’s generally best to practice on any empty stomach. If however you’re pregnant, diabetic, hypoglycemic or have other particular blood sugar or caloric needs, please care for yourself in a wise manner.

SAUCHA: Saucha is Sanskrit for cleanliness or purity. It is a precept of Yoga. Please wear clean clothes to practice. Good personal hygiene is a practice of self respect. This extends to your care of your Yoga mat and any other props as well.. Please ensure the area in which you’ll practice is reasonably neat and tidy. THANK YOU!
