Program Director

Juliana Mitchell (yoga student, yoga teacher & yoga therapist) is  passionate about the study of the human body, spirit & mind. She adores sharing that passion with other seeker/healers.

In addition to leading trainings she teaches private classes to a wide range of people seeking nuanced support - ranging from athletes to those with diagnosis, persons with anxiety to those healing from surgery, humans undergoing IVF, preparing for birth, experiencing their post-partum time and so much more!

In all instances, she incorporates the blessings of Restorative Yoga and is ever awed by the beneficial impact of this smart, compassionate practice.

Juliana has been teaching others to share the life-changing practice of Restorative Yoga since 2010.

Her primary teachers include: Judith Lasater and The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali.

Guest Teacher

Tejal Patel (of ABCD Yoga and the Yoga is Dead podcast series) will join us in this training to cover Restorative Yoga & RaceBased Trauma.

The focus of her teaching is on the topic of Yoga and Social Justice. A believer in diverse representation for all people of color in yoga, she creates offerings that are inclusive, accessible for all body types, and for those with varying income and experience levels.
