This training is open to:

• yoga teachers in any/all phases of their path
• yoga practitioners in any/all phases of their path
• heart-led healers & wellness providers of all kinds
• individuals seeking tools of healing & support for a loved one
• individuals seeking tools of healing & support for themselves
• those who simply love practicing Restorative Yoga &/or other relaxation techniques
• those who love learning about soothing the nervous system & working with mitigating trauma

In the past we've had persons take the program who run the gamut of those who work with the dying, individuals who work in medical/wellness settings (nurses, acupuncturists and more), persons seeking to support a loved one undergoing cancer treatment or going through a personal trauma, people seeking to address their own anxiety and insomnia, and folk who are just super committed to the possibility of being relaxed in their lives.  

Yes. You simply need to a) be called by your heart to this work and then b) add training to that inclination, as well as c) complete an in-depth final project

However, for those who want to teach Restorative Yoga and who aren't certified to teach yoga (at minimally the 200-hour level) here are two things to seriously consider:

1. Having undertaken a 200-hour training (or the equivalent) will add depth and nuance to one's restorative teaching. 

2. Yoga studios and other 'professional settings' are much less likely to hire you to teach Restorative Yoga classes or workshops if you don't have your 200-hour certification. 

For these reasons, if teaching in a professional setting is your goal, it is advantage to undertake a 200-hour training. 

The final project for certification entails teaching a set number of restorative classes to a set number of students. It also entails documenting and submitting to Juliana Mitchell (program director) the teaching of these classes. All aspects of the final project are set, according to certain criteria that is provided at the end of the training. 

The final project is in-depth and requires a commitment of time.

It is an excellent opportunity to 'put on its feet' all the information that was explored in the training.  

No, it does not. Restorative Yoga on its own has such depths to be explored. And we love that this is the total focus of this 30-hour training. 

We do however also offer a 20-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Masako Miyakawa. 

The sessions will indeed be recorded and made available to the people in the program only and for up to 3-months following the end of the program.

You may miss a small portion of the training and make it up after the fact but we encourage you to be there as much as possible and to miss as little as possible.

Before reserving a spot in a Living Now Yoga program, please ensure that you are sincere and committed. That care and respect mean a great deal, thank you! However, if despite that sincere level of commitment you need to cancel your spot in a Living Now Yoga program: 

POSTPONEMENT-

Should you need to cancel prior to the program’s start date, you may put 100% of your paid tuition amount toward a future Living Now Yoga program. 

Should you need to cancel as of or after the program’s start date, we will likewise make best efforts to accommodate your joining into a future Living Now Yoga program of equivalent hours & tuition cost. We care about you as a person and would make best efforts to work with you. 

REIMBURSEMENT

For those who need to cancel and who would seek reimbursement, there is a non-refundable, $200 processing fee. Prior to the program's start date, we would refund the tuition less the processing fee. And there are no tuition refunds as of the program’s start date.
